The thief is always in action. (Ardea cinerea). It is easier to try to steal the prey captured by another than to try to capture it by itself. Nikon D850, Sigma supertele 300-800 mm, f / 8, 1/1000 sec, ISO 1250. Thanks for your comments

Giangiorgio, there's high drama in this image. I had to look very closely and carefully to spot the the foreground bird's having the fish in its mouth. It still has the appearance to me of the background bird's having ruffled feathers (literally). At first, I thought whimsically that the birds are a married couple just having a routine spat. You continue to display mastery of bird photography, and I look forward to seeing more. - - My best always, michael - - Ciao!

I wouldn't want to be in the middle of that confrontation, Giangiorgio. Those guys look pretty big to me. Excellent colors, light and capture of the action. Greetings, Paul.

It looks almost like they were dancing and meanwhile one of them is trying to sing the fish out of the other's beak, ciao Sandor

Yeah, I could see there was a fight going on and estimated that the little one doesn't have any chances to win that fight! Great capture of dramatic event in the birds life, Giangiorgio! Complimenti! PDE

Excellent shot, Giangiorgio! Your talent and skill never ceases to amaze and delight me! You show viewers genre scenes from bird life. I can only guess how much of your efforts it requires. Bravo! Merry Christmas, I wish you a good vacation and new photos! Sincerely, Tatiana
