Pierre Dumas 286 Posted March 28, 2019 Maybe I did, mon ami! This picture is three decades (at least) old! But, you sure are right that I'm going back to real photography! Thank you for your sincere critique of my overall engaging! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted March 28, 2019 PDE, although abstract photography is as real as street photography in my opinion, your posting this image reminds us off the quality of all your work, not just abstracts. The detail in this person's hair, face, ears, neck and shirt is sufficiently sharp, but I am glad you didn't sharpen his face. It still retains a natural appearance. In my opinion, his look is exceptionally interesting. Even though his head is turned slightly to our right, his right eye, unlike his left is looking straight ahead. Simply Exceptional! - - My best always, michael Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 286 Posted March 29, 2019 Michael, the reminders of those times of B&W film photolithography, from Canon AT-1 and Canon AE-1, through Magnifax enlarger to Paterson developing tank are still packed in nylon bags in my home! I'm not going back to that kind of photography, but, I'm sure prone to go back to common, shooting photography! Thank you for your support! PDE Link to comment
tai 3 Posted March 29, 2019 Great shot, Pierre! I really like this expressive character perfectly captured in a street environment. Congratulations! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted March 29, 2019 You've always shown us to be a good photographer, this beautiful portrait shows that you were already very good 30 years ago, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
