tai 3 Posted December 13, 2018 Excellent picture, Pierre! Great idea and composition. It looks like they are arguing about the structure of matter ... under the light of an electric lamp. Delight! Congratulations! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

Giangiorgio Crisponi 463 Posted December 16, 2018 Two ancient philosophers projected into the future but always current, a very nice image, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 16, 2018 Pierre, I'm guessing that the philosophers depicted in this image are Aristotle and Plato. As Plato's student, Aristotle's entire body of work departed significantly from Plato's. Here they are examining the light bulb and debating whether it is real and, if so, the criteria used to make such a determination. They probably are having dialogue about how we know that's a light bulb and not something else. Given my academic background, I am compelled to place this photograph in my favorites. Otherwise these two giants of philosophy would never forgive me. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
