michaellinder 16,613 Posted October 15, 2018 Andrew, to me, this photograph borders between fine art and abstraction. At the very least, it seems to involve a rather novel approach with respect to the model's partial silhouette, her body position (including standing on her toes), and the snow-white hexagonal background. I hope you continue pushing the boundaries, like this. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi Michael, Thank you very much. You made my week! It takes a serious size soft-box to do this. I tried this with regular light but a red filter on one of the strobes seem to do the trick. Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted October 16, 2018 Andrew your artistic mind is always in action to make beautiful photos, is that how you occupy your free time?, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi Giangiorgio thanks a lot. I don’t think it hurts to be in the company of a beautiful girl and in addition to wonderful conversation take a descent picture once in a while. So yes artistic mind stayed sharp under such conditions. It also helps to have encouraging comments like yours. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi Philip, thanks a lot for your visit and complement. It’s a large Electionchrom Rotalux softbox 175 cm across! It’s large enough that it needs a small counterweight to stay in place. Link to comment
tai 3 Posted October 16, 2018 Andrew, you are on the rise! Everything is beautiful in this frame. Wonderful idea with a regular octagon and the positioning of your charming Artemis on this background, plus the light and color created a magnificent image. Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

andrzejp 7 Posted October 16, 2018 Hi Tatiana, thank you so much! Your comments also warm and personal! I truly appreciate this. It was my idea but this wonderful girl contributed with her perfect interpretation of the idea. So it’s mainly her contribution. Link to comment
