michaellinder 16,611 Posted May 18, 2018 In truth, Laurent, the real show is yours. There are 2 color elements that, to me, really define this image: the beams of bright sunlight emanating from the mechanic's wheel, and the orange areas on his face and head. There's enough recognizable within the frame to give the image a semi-realistic appearance. Extrraordinary! - - My best, michael Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted May 19, 2018 Michael..Wrote a reply yesterday but could not get it to upload,I had my car in for service and Robert was in the next bay fabricating a bracket for another client;I asked him to give me some sparks while I shot a few. This one turned out with the sparks trail in focus and he slightly blurred but well lit from the dense light coming through the window.I tweaked it in PP to highlight the sparks and to ''hide'' the blurr,I applied a POSTER filter.Guess that was a good choice.Thank you for the appreciation.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment

frigo 4,155 Posted May 19, 2018 Tatiana...Thank you;I preferred the original and then, the intense spark trail on this one got me thinking about using it in a semi-abstract.Glad it caught your attention.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
