While I was having my morning coffee...with the camera nearby,Renardo showed up for its breakfast treat.Salutations-Laurent

I think is hard for wild animals in so much winter to find food,so they know that round human can have something.Same thing was happened in my town with bears and this is not at all good,now seems that most of them were captured and moved in forest wild area.

Hi Radu..It is indeed a long winter and as you can see where the fox is sitting,there is still 1M of snow all over my yard and near my garage,the snow is up to the roof.The problem which you had with bears is not likely to happen here as we are on an island and the forested area is relatively small as most of the area is a peat moss plain.In any case,our little fox here is no menace and is a good visitor....and very photo friendly.Salutations amicales-Laurent

Hi Tatiana..Our little guest is unpredictable and we are lucky when we can co-ordinate an encounter and we cannot put food out in advance as the crows will feast on it in a hurry.Glad you like the pose!Salutations-Laurent

Greg & Verena...He is a foxy visitor;I was ready with food and the camera early this morning but it decided to skip a day.Maybe it decided to come by at a different time and leaving some food would surely bring it by but the minute I lay down the food,my crows are right there .He (I think it's a he) is a cute one for sure!Salutations-Laurent

Hi Laurent. I like your little fox! ... It is an interesting visitor! Around here, we also have visitors sometimes, although not as interesting. Last week, a cormorant came into our house, (It was quite confused), but we were able to get it out after a few attempts..... Kind Regards, Rosario.

Rosario...Thank you for looking in and for the observation.Renardo as we named our visitor is indeed a most interesting guest.Unfotunately,not an easy subject to photograph as the morning light in front of the house is into the camera and these initial shots at least had to be taken through the kitchen window glass so as not to scare it away.Glad the image caught your attention.Salutations-Laurent
