Wayne Sadler 587 Posted December 14, 2017 For years I’ve worked to understand and emulate the watercolor style of my favorite watercolorist, Frank Webb. I am not so close with pigment and brush but my digital paintings are making progress. This scene along 5th Ave in New York ( designated Museum Mile) is typical of the subject matter of this amazing artist. Link to comment

setsail728 15 Posted December 14, 2017 I’m very familiar with Museum Mile. I pass it all the time. Your shot should be in one of the Museums (perhaps the Met). It’s VERY good!! Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 587 Posted December 20, 2017 Thanks, Warren. Every time I'm NY I have to visit this area. Sometimes there are some amazing artists on the street, but always great street images. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 587 Posted December 20, 2017 Many thanks, Laurent. I am afraid my photography and painting have been on a collision course for years. Probably 80% of the scenes I see, I see first as a painting. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 285 Posted December 20, 2017 Absolutely great work of art, Wayne! My modest knowledge of art doesn't allow me to say more! Cheers! PDE Link to comment
