Wayne Sadler 567 Posted November 30, 2017 Construction began in December 1939 of this foreground ship, the HMS Belfast, that saw action in WW2, the Korean war and other “conflicts”. Now a museum in the middle of the Thames River in London, I admit only drew my attention because it blocked my views of the Tower Bridge. But its camouflage paint job inspired this recreation. Pierre Dumas 264 Posted November 30, 2017 If you can't avoid it - include it in composition, ha! Looks nice painting! Cheers, Wayne! PDE Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted November 30, 2017 There's enough realism in this photopainting to enable a viewer to identify a warship and the people on its deck (possibly workers). A strong image, Wayne - especially the slightly jagged edges. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 1, 2017 Many thanks, Michael. After squinting at the ship, lines merged and shapes presented suggesting an interesting image. Link to comment

setsail728 15 Posted December 4, 2017 Nice post processing painting effect. Glad the position of the guns are skyward, a non threatening attitude!! Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted December 5, 2017 Thanks, Warren. I really appreciate the comment. Hadn't thought about the attitude of the guns. Link to comment
