tai 3 Posted November 27, 2017 Great, Michael! I like the frame and post-processing. It looks like an old postcard from my grandmother's archive! Congratulations! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

Ken Ratcliffe 103,894 Posted November 28, 2017 Great PP love the old vintage look. Gives this character and so much more. Very well composed and presented. Best regards Ken. Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted November 28, 2017 Ha! The sepia takes me back to a Manhattan of a much earlier era!! Great work! Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted November 29, 2017 Ken, Warren: Being on a cruise ship sailing from Cape Liberty, New Jersey gave me the unique opportunity to take this shot. I felt compelled to apply the antique treatment (even though many buildings in lower Manhattan are far from antiques). Thanks for your comments. Link to comment
Jack_Maegli 0 Posted November 30, 2017 It looks like you woke up that particular morning and became the reincarnation of Alfred Stieglitz! Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted February 16, 2019 An unusual but immediately grabbing effect. At first, one can look at this as an overexposed image and pass it by. But you had an ace under your sleeve, by managing to overexpose it and post-process it like a truly old, very old photograph of the several icons of NY. I just love the way the boat serves as the base for the Statue of Liberty, that overexposed, it nonetheless comes forth even when the sky is almost equally illuminated. Masterful! I enjoy this image a lot! DG Link to comment
