LESSON OF FLIGHT. The mother once the chicks are old enough invites them , if they want to get the food, to rise in flight and to follow her far from their nest. In this picture three little herons ( Egretta garzetta) follow the mother in flight calling for the meal. This photo was taken at the first light of dawn. Nikon D500, Sigma supertelephoto 300-800mm, f/5,6, 1/2000sec, ISO 200. Thanks for your comments
