Wayne Sadler 567 Posted May 25, 2017 One challenge for a water colorist like me is to plan long enough in advance to preserve whites in my paintings. Lately while in my photographer/painter brain I am on the alert for whites. This view towards 2nd ave in Nashville, Tn excited me for the whites and because I didn’t know mules had been recruited for carriage rides. Link to comment
setsail728 15 Posted May 26, 2017 Ah! You have a very artistic mind's eye! I really like what you've done here!! The superwhite works well here and there is just enough color interspersed to not have the white overwhelming!! Marvelous rendering of a beautiful scene! Bravo! Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 567 Posted May 28, 2017 Thanks, Patsy. I notice that working this way with images makes design elements more prominent. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted June 5, 2017 Many thanks, Gail and Chris. Looks like I am stuck with "seeing" and approaching images like a painter lately. Link to comment
