The Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis) in Italian Cardellino. The name

comes from (Carduus) the thistle plant, the seeds of which these birds

are greedy. The photos show in fact the goldfinch on a thistle plant

I like the position of his feet, flexible, adaptable, in order to feed your legs need to be reliable.

Good strong detail surround this portrait and your out of focus background almost pulls the bird off our computer screen as if he was 3 D -
