I decided to add a few layers to this Canoe Image. One is one of the

Tower's of the Lift Locks with the Canadian Flag flying and the other

is part of the structure of the Lift Lock.

Nice composition, Gail. I still have the t-shirt I bought during my visit to the museum and get lots of questions when I wear it. Thanks for your recent comments. Cheers, Jim

thanks for your visit Jim.  I searched the big move the Museum is doing - over to the Lift Locks and it is going to be so spectacular!!!  I never imagined they would do something so impressive here.  There was a big article about the Museum in the Newspaper this weekend.  When they have it all done, the Locks and Museum I'm sure will draw Tourists from far and wide. I will get back over to visit Jim.

I like this view that shows the shape and construction of the vessels to good effect, the subtle layers add an extra dimension to the image and the story.

Compliments & Best Regards

Really nice composition Gail. The reflections are quite interesting as well. I also like the warm look of the wood inside the canoe. I'm not familiar with this museum.....another thing to check out. TFS.

Best Always, Holger

Hi, Gail. The added layers look so natural, that, at a first glance, I thought they were natural reflections on the water.
Good job!

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

It's a  masterpiece of composition Gail with my favorite part being the focus point and earth tones of the center of the canoe. Well done, my friend!
