thanks-view large please: Looks like might be cloudy Mon night, so

got this when it's almost full. This time I had the Sony set at aps-c

sensor which cut the mp down from 40 to 18, but added another 50% to

the effective range of the lens. So with canon 100-400, plus 2x

extender, plus smaller sensor = 1200mm .

Excellent shot but I like #5 (800mm) best, it seemed much sharper.  Thanks for sharing this series, it's educational and all around good stuff... Mike

Thanks Mike-always appreciate your input. Comparing the 2 side by side in full size, I can't really see much difference in sharpness, although this one is considerably large, or closer view- I maybe should have changed it to straight b+w to make the contrasts more clear. I'm just thrilled this worked out at all- did you see the footprints from the astronauts there? (Kidding) G
