I think I’ve been anthropomorphizing clouds all my life. I was giving

clouds human traits long before I knew there was a term for it. I

think most artists, most of us photographer do this with a lot of

things. It helps inform our art. Here I turned to catch this

menacing character sneaking up on me from behind the dunes. Comments

and critique appreciated.

Really nice shot, Wayne. The clouds are great; they are like a roiling surf crashing over the dunes. We may already be underwater, looking up at the wild eddies of a crashing wave.

I like the way the ominous looking cloud had a darker centre, it looks like it could be digesting something...it could have been you next :)

Many thanks, particularly for acknowledging the vision.  As you know the processing, particularly the tonal work, entailed an interpretation of the scene.
