I particularly like the light halo around the new growth, it adds a magical touch!   And also the contrasting rough textures of the tree bark !

Sincere Compliments!

Emmanuel, Patsy, Alf, Gregory & Verena, Phil, Bela and Radu - many thanks fr visiting and commenting.  I don't know if it is my imagination or not but the number of people viewing images or even commenting on images is in decline or perhaps folks are tired of the type of images being shared.

With this image I was not sure whether to place the young leaf with a 'halo' or place it in a position where the background was darker. I finally settled on this composition.

The first shot, I actually focused on the new green growth located in the lower central position. For this 2nd shot, I focused on the growth with the 'halo' with a plan to do a focus stack.  In the end I tried the focus stack but it did not look normal and then decided to stay with this one (the 2nd shot).

It was late afternoon and  welcomed the warm glow which is very appealing to me.

All the best and thanks again for visiting.
