The other day, Radu posted a beautiful Macro of the Centre of a

Clematis. It was so lovely. I was telling my husband about it over

breakfast and he said "look over the gate on the deck, there is

something you will really want to take a picture of". I thought he was

talking about an insect, but here was this lovely Clematis that had

somehow crept between the crack in the deck boards. I was amazed

the petals were still perfect. I plan on posting it without layers as well.

But the whole time I was Photographing it, I thought of Radu and all

the beautiful flowers he posts. He somehow has a way of bringing

out the most beautiful depths of colour and detail. I think he is an

inspiration to many of us. (sincere thanks for any visits and thoughts

shared, always grateful, Gail :)

Gail, I agree with Crystals' comment, you've certainly posted some outstanding images of flowers. But I know what you mean, when you think of floral images Radu is certainly one of the first artists that comes to mind and deserving of a tribute like this. Very appropriate and beautiful work my dear friend.

Best, Holger

Always light footed, ethereal images. it is an illusion to think that Photos are made with the camera.. they are made with the eye the heart and the head. Henry Cartier Bresson

It is very hot and humid here, but our clematis is not blooming again. Perhaps it is the location of yours (which direction it faces). But needless to say it is like you are having a second summer! Your images inspire me always to strive to do better Radu

Again a very pleasing to the eye and souls painting!

I don't especially like and never use pink, Gail, but I sure like and respect your choice of color here!

Best regards
