Please scroll ahead to the next image and tell me which image you prefer. The sun

was lower in the sky for this shot, and there is a bonus of an eagle in one of the trees.

Thanks!

Christal,

Thanks for mentioning the eagle or I would have missed him.  Always fun to capture one even if he is far away.  I have looked at both of your Cove images and my preference is for the cropped version.  I am unable to articulate why other than I just like it better.  A very nice image BTW.

They both have their merits Christal.  I am 'stuck' right now :). The intimate crop in the next is pleasing, but this gives more of a sense of the fabulous setting this home is situated in. Wonderful that you captured the Eagle as well!

I like this because of the warmer light. The eagle is a bonus but at the size displayed here at photo.net, it was difficult to pick it out.  Hope that helps,

Beautiful ....both of them. I prefer this one. I think the lighting is better in this shot. Nice little birdie up in that three too!

I'll make it unanimous and pick this one, too.  Like Tony, I like the warm light and the Eagle makes a nice hide and seek element.  Beautiful scene and well composed... Mike

I like this one better because of its warmer tint...and the bird is a bonus.....And,just wondering if my reply to your email has reached you through the PN system?

I prefer this one, but for different reasons than most. For me it is the texture of the water that adds so much more to this shot, reflecting the softer light and the house amongst the lazy ripples. Somehow it conveys a more tranquil setting, and yes the Eagle is a great little bonus too.

Very well done Christal!

Beautiful peaceful scene with wonderful colors & details.  The eagle is a great bonus to complete the scene .  Take care, Patsy

Thanks everyone......just getting back here and am pleased to see all of the responses.  It seems it's unanimous, so I'll delete the other image (with your comment, Gail).  :-)   Sometimes it just helps to get a 3rd party opinion, so I appreciate your help!
