Fabulous shot with great depth of field. That wide angle shot makes it look like the boat's bow pulpit is 10 feet long!! As a long time sailor myself I'll say that's some beautiful sloop (or cutter) you have there!!

Thanks Warren! It's a Lord Nelson 35 and she belongs to my older Bro' who lives in Seattle. He took a few months off in 2010 to go to Alaska and I flew up there to Juneau to join him for a week. Great place  Alaska! Been back twice already (on land) to shoot bird. This boat - The Magic - was on the Pacific Yachting October magazine :

Thanks Mr Mancil! Time goes by so fast .. it's been 4 years already ? I look at some old image and read the comment again. Notice that Mr. Mancil, Ricardo & Warren made comments 4 years ago too  :-)

Thanks Richard!

Muchas Gracias Ricardo! My Spanish did not get any better in the last 4 years either but I've been going to the Mexican grocer the last 2,3 months and make my kid a burrito everyday. I think the dish that I like,  'Birria De Chivo' , is not everyone's favorite  :-)

Wow,what an excellent moment you had in this location(that for sure is unique),idea to do this shot from this position shows the surrounding area with ice, water, mountains so well and very original too.A delightful photo, compliments.

A great POV shot that has excellent composition and more importantly gives the viewer a real sense of being there. Looks like it was a great experience and this shot really captures that emotion. Best wishes William.

Hues, resolution, clarity and perspective all amazing.  Seems you risked a lot to get this image, but it appears worth it.  Congrats, Mike.
