I've not posted for quite awhile and have missed my time on PN.

Today I started working on an Abstract and for a final step in

processing I thought I'd try the Oil Paint Filter. It didn't seem

overdone. I hope to get caught up on so many replies and critiques.

I've missed so many good images that I must get caught up on. I

know it will be enjoyable. (any visits/comments are always most

appreciated :)Gail)

Thankyou Bill. I am glad to be posting again. I have so many images to catch up on, here on PN. Loved the 'spiral ceiling' in one of your last images, so Beautiful!!

Gail,  It's always great to connect with you and see your creative art images.  I once learned to do this sort of thing, but have forgotten.  It's the old use it or lose it concept.  Nice colors.  Thanks for commenting on my Perru image.  Larry

Welcome back Gail! it's been a while...Red, yellow and a slight touch of green. Your colors' combination here is quite striking and your shapes' pattern really interesting. Impressive result! Hope you'll be posting more often from now on.

Take care!

I really like the oil filter effect, it adds a great texture to the emblem like image. For me this has very regal connotations, puts me in mind of something the queen would wear on her trips to Balmoral Castle (Her Scottish Home)

Beautifully done Gail!

Best Regards

Gail,

Although you have been "away" from PN for quite a while, this photo shows that you haven't lost your touch. So, just pick up where you left off when you can.

By the way..this is an excellent abstract. Color combination, composition and DOF are just superb (as is your custom!)

Another wonderful abstract Gail! I see a bumble bee in this and love the colors and symmetry. Always good to hear from you Gail and I wish you all good things. Rob

Seven all the way for this masterpiece, Gail! I kind of see some wolf in green in the center, but art is meant to be seen according to your personality and here you are showing us what excites you about the sunflowers, very original and beautiful view!

Best regards
