Very attractive image, very well executed. I would be interested to see how you achieved the reflection. Best regards.

Jon, thanks for your comments. You have a number of great shots in your Water folder!!!  The filter that I used here is called a flood filter by Flaming Pear. It is an add on for Photoshop.    AJ

first glance good, second glance not so much and here's why.

"AJ Bart Jon, thanks for your comments. You have a number of great shots in your Water folder!!! The filter that I used here is called a flood filter by Flaming Pear. It is an add on for Photoshop. AJ"

That effect stood out like a sore thumb to an old PS'er.  Notice that the curvature of the seed head is NOT accurately portrayed in the reflection.  given the other qualities of this shot though my advice would be to stick to your camera, and use PS sparingly, and cheap, old filters, presets, and actions,  never.

I read the comments above,my idea about this kind of using the filters like this one is not to have an exactly image of main subject in reflection,I think is just a way to give an artistic feeling,a different impact than usual to viewer. If we ask about this 100 persons is possible to have same number of different opinions,is a matter of each one taste in fact.

It is very obvious, it is artificial,   but,   looks very good. Very nice composition almost perfect work, easily fools so many people. Still, a very nice image.

Cheers.
