I click on Michael Linder's name and I see three images in front of me - a colorful abstract, a BW man's profile and a jeep in the foreground. Immediately I am drawn to this one and the trouble is, one should explain why this appeals to me the most.

 

Maybe it is its simplicity - maybe the lighting and maybe one can identify with it! Who knows!

Marvelous angle for this shot! It effectively gets the patterns of the upholstery into the "design" of the overall photo.....and it works well. I like it!

It's the closeness and proximity, the angle and the impression of warmth on the guys face, it all adds up to something very tangible we can all connect with, a snooze in the sun!
