Wayne Sadler 574 Posted February 22, 2014 I was surprised to have captured this moment and even more so with atolerable degree of clarity. Kind of rare for me. Must be the lens. Comments and critique appreciated. Link to comment

jkilgo 0 Posted February 23, 2014 Amazing timing...sometimes it works in spite of our best effort...just keep pushing that shutter button...a lovely Tufted Titmouse. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted February 23, 2014 Sheesh! You are even training them to do tricks now : - ) Bur seriously you are far too modest, I have seen your work and and like this one one it is of a high calibre! Excellent clarity and detail! I noticed you used a 100 mm lens, how close did you manage to get to the bird, and did you crop the image? Compliments! Alf Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 574 Posted February 23, 2014 J,Yes, in spite of myself. Thanks. I really appreciate your kind comment and the name of the bird. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 574 Posted February 23, 2014 Alf,Thanks. Much appreciated. Yes, this was cropped. I think my working distance was about 3 meters. And given the amount of caffeine in my veins at any given time I am pretty sure I used a tripod. Still learning this lens, but so far it performs impressively. Link to comment
