Fine image and the mood is well presented.

And nothing personal,I hate both the lower blank edge and the BIG logo, they are enough to corrupt the finest image ever.

Wayne:  "Zen like" - I agree and I appreciate your kind words. Glad you like it.

Saad - I appreciate your kind words also and the fact that you stopped by. I appreciate you telling me what you don't like about the image and I find that to be constructive.

Re the logo, I am afraid that stays on any images i display on the internet. I even compromised on not including my personal website which is usually part of my logo. Despite the fact that I use an option here at photo.net to discourage downloads, there are several ways of easily getting my images and I have proof that they are being used extensively and illegally on websites around the world.

As to the white area where I placed my name (logo), it is part of the scene that I captured. And to be honest, I debated whether I should include it when I made the capture and I continued to question whether I should include it here or to make a crop. I left it because I thought it provided context as to whether this was a lake side scene or part of some giant alpine mountain. I may still crop it but I hope others will weigh in on it.

Thanks again for your input.

If this was up for rating it would get an immediate 7 from me,  I knew I would love this even from the thumbnail. Such subtle colour and well thought out composition!  As for the logo, it really doesn't detract from my viewing pleasure at all, there was an instance recently when you inadvertently placed your logo over what I considered a key part of the image, but in this case it is quiet and subtle and I really don't blame you for ensuring security of your images as much as possible.

Excellent work!

really very nice.  So subtle, except for the pine tops.  The picture gives you a hint of autumn colours, and leaves the rest to your imagination.  Well seen.  You know, apparently, if you lubricate your shutter with V8 it will work much better.  Cheers, Micheal

Tony,

I very much like the atmosphere that you capture so very well in this image. I see you have come to appreciate the 'mists of Tremblant'.
