Bijou Précieux

I almost ignore this tiny damselfly thinking it was just another

common beige one, when I noticed that the tip of its tail was

different. What a delight it was when I looked at it through my

lens...just like a fine piece of jewelry!

Very unusual and simplistic approach to a often used object. Also funny as it almost looks cross eyed.

Agree with previous that this is an unusual posture for this insect,but looks very good and as usual you worked with a nice blur bg that shows better main subject.

The vertical posture is very striking, this coupled with the fine detail, central composition and pleasantly blurred backdrop makes for a most compelling image!
