Hello Hamid, As usual the lighting, rich colors are all there. It's beautiful how there are contrasting color zones, warm to cool in the sky. Fine composition.

Best Regards,

Holger

Hamid,  Nice image.  This is a tranquil and simple farm scene that you have composed quite well.   While the rising sun is effective, I might try to reduce the white blow out in the sun.  You may be able to carefully clone in some of the yellow in the blow out areas.  i like the way that the sun reflects on the grass at the right and to the left front of the house.  The flowers add to the image as well.  Thanks for posting this and explaining that it is Iran.  Best to you. Wonderful morning light -- I'm struck by and really like the distribution of light throughout the frame.  Nicely done.

Thank you dear friends, for comments and positive inputs. Very much appreciated.

Larry, The control of most dark and most light areas of the shot are among the toughest and most controversial items in editing process, and is somewhat taste dependent. Until recently i used the way you suggested here, ie. the sun that is not "blown out", but i am now more prefer the sun to be the sun, ie "blown out". Actually i was thinking in this shot i gone too far in darkening the sun! Thank you again for yur insightful comment.

My best regards,

Hamid.

There is a very nice balance to this image, both in terms of composition and in terms of the light.

I like the flowers in the foreground and the tree that acts as a counter balance with the house.

I read with interest your thoughts concerning the brightness of the sun.  I think sometimes we can become obssesive with reducing blown highlights to the extent that we lose some of the drama of the image.  But here you have retained that element of brightness and without it becoming just a mass of white.  Again I suppose it is a matter of balance and proportion, and of course everything is then subjective.

Very well done Hamid!

Best Regards

Thank you Alf and Wayne for your nice comments and encouraging words, very much appreciated.

Alf, After uploading the photo in one of showing sites, eg. photo.net. i control the view on three laptops, and three different calibrated monitors to preview the situation of darks and lights, and specially mid tone and extreme contrasts. Sometimes, specially in this shot, i did preview it on my tablet, and it was rather unusually dark. This difference on different showing monitors may be the issue of controversy. The final large scale print on a calibrated high end printer may resolve the controversy and be the best judge about lights and details. Thank you dear friend for your very insightful continuing comments and support. It means a lot for me.

My best regards,

Hamid.

I immediately felt like I was just getting up to see another peaceful sunrise in the neighborhood. You have interest in the foreground with the flowers and interest in the background with the sun and clouds. The main object, the house, is set to the left third line for interest. The shading gives very nice form to all the objects giving depth to the image. IMO the sun is just right for this image - I know when I see it early in the morning peeking out, it is bright. The saturation of the colors gives me a bright cheery feeling like I like to have first thing in the morning. Well done.
