Another experiment combining layers, transforming layers, use of

blending modes, and adjustments in light and vibrancy. I have seen

so many beautiful Spring Images by my fellow P.N. Members, lovely

and bright. We still do not have many blossoms out, we need a few

good days of Sunshine first. I felt the need to do something a bit

brighter for a change. I truly feel grateful even though I cannot revel

in 'all that is Spring'. The weather has been quite devasting all over

the U.S. this past weekend, not to mention so many other areas of

the World. I truly am fortunate. (thankyou for any visits and

comments, sincerely, Gail)

I was just turning in for the night and I am so very pleased to encounter this rich, sophisticated and original image that can only come from a brilliant mind and a strong woman. The various floral patterns and forms contain the beauty and strength of a diamond necklace. One which is placed close to the heart of the wearer.

I think I even see  spider webs and a spider whose body starts at the middle bottom section and it's head ends in the middle section - perhaps it is a harmonious and symbiotic relation between the flower and the spider,. Outsiders Beware! (*_*)

All the very best and thanks for stopping by one my images recently and providing such strong support for its aesthetics.

All the very best,

PS I will probably return to this image tomorrow,

Thankyou for that lovely compliment. I can see where you saw the 'spider'. Amazing what appears when you 'play' with images a bit. I so enjoyed reading your critique Tony. You are quite the 'word-smith'.

Many thanks for your support over the last few years. These kind words come at a good time for me. (while it is a bit difficult - still). One year on the 22nd. It has gone by quickly, and then - not so. Bittersweet, memories, times we didn't have. I watched a Lionel Ritchie Concert Friday evening - Lionel Ritchie and Friends. Mom loved his music as I do, and at one point, for a moment I had that feeling - 'I should call Mom....' She would have enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks Tony. I do appreciate your kind words, and thoughts you have sent along over the months. Random, but always at the right time.

Sincere regards my friend, Gail

Hi Gail,

Creativity: A+

Presentation and Beauty: 10

This would make a wonderful design for a stain glass window or a back illuminated transparency wall hanging.

Best Regards,  mike

A lot going on in this image.  This results in a viewer's taking more time and effort to take in all of the detail and complexity.  Bravo!

Gail - as promised - I would be back. Anniversaries where loss is involed is often bitter sweet and i can only say what i have heard and personally experienced that time is a healer.  I came across a photo of my recently departed sister and had to bypass it quickly.

And now onto things much less serious which is rating and one is constantly reminded that originality and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It makes me think that my policy of rating 5, 6 or 7 or not all but provide a comment if I feel the score should be lower, is an anachronism these days.  Anyhow, a six from me.

 All the very best,

I have a different anaology of the image than Tony, but would concur totally with his sentiments relating to "Ratings".

The image for me is a an Electro - Plasm portal, entry to which is denied unless you have the key. To attempt unauthorised entry would mean certain destruction, and energy of the raider would be absorbed to increase the power to the cosmic gateway.......until the next transcender tries his luck.

Ok enough of my Sci-Fi ramblings, a great intricate work of imagination and skill. Very well done Gail!

Best Regards

Alf

Only I would remove, better to say wouldn't apply that stroke! But, seven nevertheless! This is something that may compete with Dave Barstow's works! I call him Kind of the abstracts you know?

Cheers dear Gail!

I like lot of things here, colors, shapes, lines and Alf idea about a portal could be this one is interesting and agree it.If an abstract like this can have so many comments and possibility for interpretation this means  a lot.Long  I look to this  find different significances, nice one and unique.

It reminds me very much of a stenograph, where you have to focus mindlessly at the center until a secret image or pattern is revealed. My eyes are now tearing but alas, no secret. But maybe that IS the message. That the beauty is right there. This is a piece to ponder. And I have. And I love it! Great job, Gail.

Peace ~

Very nice image. I like that it is not completely symmetrical. The limited number of colors and tones is another strength. It is an abstract but still with some things which are recognizable.

Well done,

Ben

Simply, a superb creation !  Love the colours - be great for a wall, an entranceway in fact - I could look at it afresh every day and be re-invigorated.

Take care

So nice of you to visit and share your thoughts. I often will put too much in an image such as this, and I actually stopped myself. I found it to be much more pleasing to the eye to be simpler. I appreciate you thoughts Ben.

Hope you and your wife are busy with your lovely arrangements and images, warmest regards,Gail
