Your landscape images comes with superb lighting quality and very effective DOF where the details covering the whole place as it is with this image, you also picking the most suitable timing of the day to expose these image and you end with amazingly high quality returns, the colors here are phenomenal, specially the sky and its moving clouds, this add a great credit to the image here and enhances its appearance to well connect with the viewers.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Most photographers said Canon 17- 40mm @ f4 deliver a soft edges. But your photos are not as they said, because you have your special technique and know how to use it. Excellent Zsolt

Hi Zolt,  I love how the rocks in foreground lead my eye up the hill to the peak and then the sky. Wonderful composition. I think the greens are a bit oversaturated, but otherwise this is outstanding. Best wishes, Linda

thank you all. i am really glad to read your opinions.

Museeb: 17-40mm lens does make soft edges at large apertures, but catch up pretty good at f9 and smaller apertures. besides: all of the ultra wide angle lenses produce soft edges ( maybe except some Zeiss and nikon 14-24 a bit better), it is a wide angle "disease", and still the canon 17-40 still does a lot better than sigma/tamron/tokina versions. anyway, for landscape photography it is no sense to use below f10, so it is not  a real concern.

Beautiful, . . .  as usual. I love rocks, being in the mountain, or it  is a mountain, or in the lakes. Bare rocks as an island , etc. The rocks, telling me a lots of stories. Maybe, I was a rock in my previous life? Haha. The color, and lighting is magical.

Cheers.

Zsolt, this is a masterpiece of a landscape. The colours are vivid (albeit surreal to me). It also gives me the impression of HDR treatment. The results are excellent whatever methods you applied. This is a trademark of your work! This place is heaven, and I envy you for having such opportunities to shoot such awesome locations. I also like the way you left the feeling of air perspective in the background landscape on the right leaving contrast minimal and gradual. Best regards and my compliments. 7

thanks again!

Bela: i have the same feelings for rocks. love them very much, especially mountain rocks covered with lichens.

John: thanks for your objectivity. i am very glad there are some people who understand that this kind of photography is not necessary to be 100% real. i agree about too vivid colors and what we call a slight HDR feeling, but i try to reflect my subjective impressions instead of showing real places. best regards!
