Hi Linda! You have captured the emotion of this musician well in this shot. Composition is also very good altough I would suggest not cropping the tip of the guitar head at the far right. Fill in flash has lighted the subject well bringing out brilliant colours and details. Background on the right is slightly bright  which could be darkened a bit to balance the lighting. Depth of field is also excellently controlled blurring the background and isolating the subject. Well done for a naturally looking shot. Best wishes....JB

I like how the light seems to glow around her, spotlighting her.  The stray lock of her hair over one closed eye, her blouse slipping slightly over her shoulder, and her entranced expression gives this shot an unposed beauty.

John, when I shot this I was concentrating on capturing her expression which seemed so sweet and soulful to me. I missed the very end tip of the guitar. In other shots I got the whole guitar in but without the expression I like here in this one. I thought about leaving it with the shaved of end but decided this was better, it looks like it was deliberatly left out. Maybe I should cut and paste in the missing end from one of the other shots. Thanks for that, I am always trying to improve.

Great image. I was confused when I turned the sound up on my computer and heard nothing. I fully expected to hear a folk song!! Nice skin tones and lighting. I like the DOF with background slightly out of focus!!
