His face is one that would 'haunt' in the worst part of dreams. His facial scars, the thoughts that must be behind his disturbing expression. I don't know if I could live with knowing what this child has endured. Your excellent skills have rendered a most unsettling image. Well done Birte. The miserable have no other medicine, but only hope. (W. Shakespeare, Measure For Measure). One wonders if there is still any hope left in that face.
