Lovely abstract, Dave, almost a Jack McRitchie picture. If I may suggest, I'd go for the full abstract, that is, give it more contrast so there is no detail in the shadows, and you have a black void.

David, You put on a good act, playing  the curmudgeon, but I see a great deal of optimism in this image. 

It is an interesting angle, and tones of color palette. I don't  know details, but it looks to my imagination as the sun entered earth from the blue sky....;-)) Very nice abstract with  the sign,  flowers  and lamp  hinting you were still  photographing standing on earth.....

the rich blue sky and the yellow light in the crack form an eye-catching combo.  Even the street lamp is peeking over the edge to see that.  Cheers, Micheal
