This is my kind of photo. I love the variety of poses and facial expressions. The photo has a consistent flow with the repeating reds, earth tone clothes and dirt.

Oh how I like this. I don't think you get the credit for their mostly matching clothes, but that and the colorless background are just perfect to go with those red Popsicles. And the expressions are priceless. This one is eminently publishable.

Okay. David and I came to this photo INDEPENDENTLY after perusing through your portfolio. This one was a real stand-out. Imagine my surprise to find that David, whose opinion I respect greatly, had also clicked on this one today. I think we're both time-traveling back to summer, back to days of dirty faces and popsicles, and back through your portfolio. This is a perfect capture of kids being kids.

I will admit that many is the time that I've seen schlocky images that I did not find that artistically meritorious in publications like Parade magazine and other similar mags. This is superior to many I've seen published. Parade, and many other mags are always asking for images. This is one of those that would have a real shot at it. I'm not saying they would appreciate the nuances and all, but it is certainly an example of where you might try. If Sally Mann did this image (and it is as good as some of hers), it would be hanging in some galleries. Alas, you and I are not yet "discovered."

This is priceless! Love how you captured the expressions and personally of each child. The neutral background shows off the children very well. The touch of mud on them makes for even more a adorable photo of kids being kids.
