Preparing to celebrate the anniversary of the wedding of Crown Prince

Ludwig I and Princess Therese (12 October 1810). These people know how

to party!

I'm just surprised only one person seems to have noticed the man with the enormous camera. :-) Looks like you took the Big Pup for lots of exercise recently!

Great depth and detail, Walter. I like photos that look balanced, as this one does, but has so much detail you could spend awhile looking at it.

A wedding aniversary celebration almost 200 years later, whoa. This is so festive! Not many people celebrate a wedding for 200 years (Spain was governing Texas during this wedding) Nice photograph very colorful and full of anticipation...

I am again impressed by the nice exposure, and the way the tent pattern and colours pop out from the screen at me. I particularly like in the composition the higher decoration, which has the opposite radius of curvature than the tent structure and makes the image extremely dynamic to me.

As a difference with the other image you have in this series (which is far superior to me) I am not particularly fond of the people here... Do not know why. I think it's too crowded already to convey that great effect of emptyness of the other shot, and is too empty to get the Oktoberfest feeling. I wonder if we are going to see some shots taken a few hours later... maybe with a long exposure?

Cheers, s.

Thank you for your visit Salvatore! Although there is more color interest here, the previous "Beer Tent" photograph is my favorite. I am afraid there won't be any 6x7 shots of the party. I could not bring myself to subject my equipment to overflowing tankards of sloshing brew. I, on the other hand, was not under that restriction. Regards.
