Heiligenblut

WJT

Handheld, exposure unrecorded. I should have used my ND grad; had to make two scans of the transparency, one for the sky and one for the valley.

Along the way crossing over the Alps one comes upon the village of

Heiligenblut, named after the small church on the right. Built in the

Middle Ages around 1430, the church guards a tiny vial of Christ's

blood. Comments, suggestions, and ratings from posting photogs are

invited.

I'm sorry I missed this the first time around. I like this the best in this folder. I think it's the church that rounds out the composition. And the lines in the fields are great, too. And the darks and brights. Yup - I love it!
