This is a snapshot of the interior of this wonderful place. Not

carefully composed, my attempt is to simply share the grandeur of this

institution. Best viewed LARGER.

Considering the difficult exposure and a photo probably a little too dark, your scan is really good.

I regret the non perfect symmetry: you were not exactly on the center axe, and this is very visible.

nevertheless a good work.

Very well composed. The light(s) is(are) nice and the people in the foreground adds. You did well to catch this beautiful place in the right moment.

Amazing. (not only the excellence of your photo, but also your exposure info) It looks like a nice place to visit. I like the details and variety of colors.

Walter , you do as fine a job with your interiors as your landscapes. Technically and aesthetically wonderful!

(Ahem!! "Snapshot" indeed. I should only take such snapshots!)

Superb shot! I like the sombre colours and light and the people to add scale. I like a slightly non-symmetrical shot like this as I think it stands up to viewing longer than a strictly symmetrical one which the brain soon finds a bit boring. The thing that most intrigues is the position where stairs are going off upwards and downwards. Faintly Escher-like feeling but more subtle! I would possibly like to have seen the top of the lower flight of stairs but you would then have lost the top of the arch. A good trade off. A great shot - I wish it was mine!

Walter, good sense of space here, muted colors and the photo tells a story with the people. Beautifully done. Cheers, Sondra
