I love that photograph. The colors have an Autochrome like quality to them, and it has a dramatic effect one me. Very well done.

At first look I thought this would be better in B&W, now as I look at it, I think the subtile colors are actually kind of nice because of how dim and subdued they are. If they were bright, this picture would not work at all, but because they are so toned down it adds to the feel of it. Very nice clouds, were those there by luck, or did you wait for them?

What an incredibly powerful and drama-filled image! I can almost envision the pirates that landed here 150 years ago and left their boat stranded as they buried secret treasure. The clouds are awesome.

this picture is taken in "öland" - sweden. it`s an island in the balticsee. and one of the things that impressed me most deeply there, was the quick changing of the phenomenons at the sky. really dramatic spectacles i could witness and i loved it!

die Farben hast du wirklich hervorragend hinbekommen.Sieht aus wie handkoloriert.Ein sehr schönes,stimmungsvolles Foto.Und nun nochmal zu den ratings.Ich habe mich schon so oft über Personen geärgert, die , wie mir scheint, oft keine oder wenig Ahnung von Fotografie haben und dann diese schlechten Bewertungen abgeben, ohne ein einziges Wort der Kritik darüber zu verlieren.Das ärgert mich am meisten.Mittlerweile ignorier ich sowas, das ärgern lohnt sich nicht.Sind halt Deppen....Gruß Monika

I don't like to be left out when it comes to reading photo comments so I used an online translator service. I agree with Monika that the photo has nice colors, and people who rate very low with no comments, are just showing their ignorance. On this shot the stormy-like clouds and the decaying boat have an interesting relationship. The composition is great, it not only 'shows an object' but it conveys feelings of solitude.
