The design, particularly the placement and hue of the shroud, seems adroitly done (the verticality being no exception). Red works well with the Gorinstein golden hues.

Shrouds have a few purposes . In this case, it covers something up; my guess is that it's the statue's face. If this is correct, then I'm sensing that the atmosphere is one of mourning. In all likelihood, I wouldn't have picked that up if the image were monochrome. Daniel, you have a superior sense of picking out subjects, as this image demonstrates.
