a 'classic' Evgeny Chertov, expertly leading the viewer's eye from the foreground all the way to the far distance. What strikes me about this photo are the format (tall portrait orientation) and the spot-on exposure. I like the way the foreground is so close that I get the sensation of almost feeling the snow. The light on the mountain is a great feature too. I think you could have included a little less sky, but you probably did that to balance the foreground. Kind regards, Vincent
