vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 9, 2021 Walking home through my neighbourhood years ago I saw this very unusual scene; it seems that some child had put the Teddy bear of another child up in a tree (or maybe it was his/her own Teddy). The strange posture and the colors intrigued me enough to make some photos. I couldn't choose a category for this photo, so I didn't. I liked the autumn sunlight on the bear's coat. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 9, 2021 Changed the category to 'funny', because the photo didn't show up in the results. Link to comment
FranzWeber 368 Posted September 10, 2021 Trapped? I thought bears grow on trees in The Netherlands. Kind regards, Franz Link to comment
tai 3 Posted September 10, 2021 Wonderful find and picture, Vincent! Maybe he left home because the kids grew up and love someone else. Beautifully captured and creates different stories! I like it! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 10, 2021 Hi Franz, thanks for your witty response! Not so much grows on trees here actually. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 10, 2021 Hi Tatiana, thank you so much for these imaginative comments! Your creative brain came up with a storyline that didn't occur to me: the bear left home because the kids grew up and love someone else, great! The bear is now a personality officially. Thanks again! Kind regrads, Vincent Link to comment
Todd Kraenzel 1 Posted September 11, 2021 Vincent, you have a very good eye for unique and interesting photographic opportunities and I really like the lighting and colors. It kind of looks like you stumbled onto a teddy bear crime scene! Warmest regards, Todd Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 466 Posted September 11, 2021 Surely many people have passed under this tree and the bear has gone unnoticed, only the expert eye of Vincent has noticed and well documented. The warm colors of the autumn leaves and the red of the bear's tongue enhance the chromatism of the image, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 11, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, thank you for these friendly comments! I'm not sure how many people have noticed this scene, but few will have photographed it, so much is certain. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 11, 2021 Hi Saad, thank you so much for your friendly comment! If the sun would not have lit this teddy from the side, I might not have had these details. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 13, 2021 Vincent, initially I was concerned that someone very cruel threw your childhood teddy bear into the trees. Then your narrative made me feel relief in that respect. Whoever the culprit may be, we should be at least a little grateful since - without the act - this photograph would not exist. Everything within the photo's borders gave me a profound feeling of peace - especially the colors that nature intended and the soft detail. Your eye, skill, and artistry are each and every one responsible for this. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted September 13, 2021 Hi Michael, thank you very much for these wonderful comments and your continuous support of my photography! That really means a lot to me. If this were my teddy thrown into a tree, I don't think I would stand by taking photos...thank you for your compliments as well, you're too kind. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
