to me it is clear why you would add the photographer in this misty shot of Emerald lake (that I saw in other photos earlier). It connects us photographers, and probably non-photographers too, to this scene by picturing the glorious moment you're about to make a photo of something beautiful the way you had hoped. You succeeded very well. The lights on the little island are a great detail. Well done! Kind regards, Vincent

Vincent. I think the presence of a human in the photo brings a little bit of life to it. Not necessarily a human interaction with nature, if you know what I mean, but changing the vector of picture comprehension: I try to drag the viewer's attention to the thoughts of that person in the frame - putting yourself in his shoes. Well- agree with the above- also find the 2 tiny points of light on the island a nice touch .
