On a day with dense fog everything around you changes; I was out pretty late this day, but just in time to get some misty shots. I particularly like the obliterating quality of mist; objects that you would normally not have in your background, just aren't there anymore. This makes composing an image a lot easier. I also like the barely visible, like the trees on the right which are no more than ghosts. Your comments are very welcome.

Beautiful foggy image and mood, Vincent! Indeed, this weeping willow seems to be in an open field. Creates an impression of quiet sadness and uncertainty. Good in black and white! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Hi Tatiana,

thank you so much for your appreciative comments and continuous support! The tree is in an urban area , normally you would see things like roads, lampposts, houses and cars, but in the mist they have all disappeared. Kind regards, Vincent
