a well composed image of these magnolia flowers, especially because you have included the flower bud on the left; without it, this photo would be less interesting and dynamic. The deep blue color of the background is very nice, but also a bit puzzling. How did you get the background to be so dark? Did you intentionally underexpose? Nicely done! Kind regards, Vincent

Hi Vincent. Thanks very much for your comment....truly appreciated. I took about 6 shots of this flower, the first one was actually underexposed by accident. Turns out that this is the shot I liked best and thus used it for posting.

I think that the contrasting blue background here really shows off the beautiful subtle pink of those lovely blossoms. A gorgeous celebration of Spring! -Aina
