Wayne...It's a waiting game as you know.Had posted this partly desaturated as with many of my snow/sky shots and added this B/W version following Larry's observation.Thank you for liking.Salutations-Laurent

They're both nice, but I think this one stimulates thoughts of what could be. Like adding some other element to form a relationship with the church. Simple example would be fresh snow with foot prints headed to the church. Of course one could say that the chaotic tire tracks contrasting with the peaceful church and radiant sky is already a relationship, but I'm not feeling that. Or you could take you car and spinout mirror image lines going to the church. This may all sound silly, but thinking your photo, will help me think about my next one in a different way.

Larry...Thank you for taking time on this one.As I use the same subjects repeatedly,I try to take advantage of good skies before setting out from the house;this one is about 10 km away and I knew just about where the big cloud would be sitting but I had no way to predict what the foreground would be like but was pretty sure it wouldn't be vergin where I could define it with fresh tracks as this is snowmobile country and fresh snow is a call out for action especially that this year was relatively snow scarse save for the recent storms.Usually on farther out sites,I carefully walk in to leave the fresh snow markless and on my return ,I leave tracks where they enhance the scene as you suggested.Glad this serves you well in planning your own shots.Merci et salutations-Laurent

Another great picture Laurent. A great touch is framing the shot so that the clouds are converging on the church. I like both the color and black and white versions, but favor the black and white by a whisker. I love your work Laurent. Keep sharing!

Mick...Thank you for continuing to look at my images and for the kind appreciation. The winds were favorable on this day and I didn't have to wait very long for the cloud formation to conveniently line up behind the church;B/W was not my first choice and I am glad I followed Larry's suggestion to try it.Salutations-Laurent
