Flamingo fantasy

Shot this in 2008, a detail of a hand painted plant pot. I hardly edited this image, as it was to my liking. I always find details of everyday subjects interesting. Your comments are very welcome.

Vincent, I'll say it again. You should do abstracts more often. This one is exceptionally mysterious. It seems that one gets a bird's eye view of what

could be an archipelago thousands of feet below. However, in keeping pace with the image's title theme, I think I see several flamingos already flying over one sea. The image is expertly and artistically crafted with a very pleasant color palette, textural variety which accents the detail, and spot on composition. Bravo!!! - - My best always, michael

Bravo Vincent, you have found a very appropriate title for this beautiful abstract image that enchanted me. As you well know, flamingos are my favorite subjects that populate the lagoons of Cagliari by the thousands, practically inside the city. In the Sardinian language they are called "Sa genti arrubia",
