vincentoiseau 83 Posted February 23, 2021 The couple of grey herons from the last upload, photographed some time later that same day, with a 1.4 teleconverter to get closerto the action. The male (with the reddish beak) followed the female around and she didn't seem to mind. For humans, these herons seem a feral species, but are they very different from us? We as humans show behavior that resembles theirs in lots of ways and which is at least more corrupt than theirs. Your comments are very welcome. Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 509 Posted February 26, 2021 Bravo Vincent, also this image like the previous one, shows us this particular courtship behavior of the grey heron, rare to see, and that you have been able to illustrate very well. Excellent lighting and sharpness, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted February 26, 2021 Hi Giangiorgio, thank you for another appreciative comment! I was happy to be able to photograph this heron couple twice in a short timespan. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
