Thanks for the info, Derek. I recently began shooting with the Nikon 28-300mm 3.5-5.6 vr but have not come close to this quality of image. Again Bravo.

I am very happy with this lens. it is made for full frame and is very sharp on my crop sensor. I just got nikon 50mm 1.4g and i am trying it out. I thought it will be sharp, but at 1.4, hmm not really. at f5 is ok. Then why it is not as sharp at wide open i wonder. Maybe is me.
