vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 7, 2021 On a stop in a forest on a dark November day, I came across this mountain stream that meandered through the trees, covered with mosses, obviously a very humid environment. Despite the fact that the light was not warm, the green was very deep. I quite like these small landscapes, where life and its decay are close together. Your comments are very welcome. tai 3 Posted January 8, 2021 Marvelous landscape, Vincent! Interesting POV! You seem to be standing in water. I like this harmonious composition, even light, variety of greens and textures ... The transparency and movement of water are perfectly captured. Masterfully done! Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 9, 2021 Hi Tatiana, thank you so much for these friendly comments! I found a spot to stand and put my tripod on that made it look as if I was in the water, but I wasn't :) I'm glad you like this landscape. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted January 12, 2021 Vincent, those who lack your love of nature might take a glimpse of this scene and quickly move on. How fortunate for us that you spent your time pensively viewing it and then deciding to photograph it. First, I must note that this photograph is as natural in appearance as its subject matter. The stream winds it way ultimately to its final destination and its depth accounts for the small areas of white water. Secondly, to me, two other elements stand out emphatically: the significant presence of moss on the foreground tree and the fallen tree that bridges the stream. Thank you for sharing this image. - - My best always, michael Link to comment
vincentoiseau 83 Posted January 12, 2021 Hi Michael, thank you for these wonderful appreciative comments! I'm very happy to read you like the way my love of nature shines through in this image. It has been photographed pretty much the way I found the scene indeed. Thanks again, my friend! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
