Pierre Dumas 307 Posted October 1, 2020 Wonderful low key composition, the surrounding and the Aster bud well gathered together, I meant to say, the bud was well integrated in the surrounding, but my poor English sometimes does funny equilibrations! My sincere compliments, Tatiana! PDE Link to comment

gregverena 353 Posted October 1, 2020 This is a beautiful, colorful photo. I'm not sure if in your area these are called Asters, but normally they are Dahlias. They both belong to the same family but are different. Link to comment

vincentoiseau 83 Posted October 2, 2020 Hi Tatiana, an effectively centered composition with the the folded petals of this flower as the deep purple (no pun intended) star of this show. The DoF is gorgeous, the color contrast very appealing. Although you could have cropped the image a lot tighter, I like it this way, with room for the OoF repetition of the stalk. The spider hiding behind the flower (it took me some time to see it) is the finishing touch. Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment
tai 3 Posted October 3, 2020 I am glad for your visit, Gregory and Verena! In our region, these plants are called garden asters. More precisely, it is the Callistephus chinensis (lat.). Aster family. Thanks a lot for your observation and compliment! Sincerely, Tatiana Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted November 13, 2020 Tatiana, A somber mood and slightly subdued background color yet it is an excellent image. I think that's why the bud pops out as well as it does. Perfectly captured in all respects...........Best Always, Holger Link to comment
