Mitchell, totally agree with you, pity, great deal of it the major humanity wisdom over the previous some three thousand years to be only remembered as history and luxury knowledge, yes the future without those guidelines are black and mystery so very unfortunately. If we turn our backs to righteous guides, then we face unrighteous or at least, the less right.

my apologies for reacting so late to this wonderful photo. I like the image and what it stands for very much. Society seems to be throwing away the accumulated wisdom of thousands of years of religion, considering it almost unimportant and ignoring its significance for humanity. I'm pretty sure that's what you mean with this image and you couldn't have picked a better scene to illustrate it! I like the heavy bronze door, the man having some trouble closing it and the darkness on the right. Into my favorites! Kind regards, Vincent

Great use of The Negative Space-effect!
