Laurent, did you ever fool me! At first blush, before reading your intro, I thought the subject was a fountain shot with a very slow shutter speed. Although the subject matter is from nature, the image is a fascinating abstract, especially if one concentrates on the cloud patterns. - - My best always, michael

Spirit in the Sky....... beautiful Laurent. Also like the diagonal gradient from dark to light.

Greg & Verena....Thank you kindly...yes,our skies are good and continuously change for the joy of anyone taking the time to observe.Crab season and also lobster season for that matter have a very short span in which the delicious shellfish must be harvested(?) as beyond this time both go into their shell transformation mode during which they are not eatable;the good thing for era is that the stocks are high and this activity is very profitable voiding the need for most to envisage a secondary activity such as shrimp, herring or mackerel....wasn't always like this and there is no guarantee this will last.In the meantime, these are good times for all....even the boats which are limited in their wear and tear!Salutations-Laurent

Michael...Fool your keen eye???What I did though, abstract allowing, was to flip the image upside down as I thought the painterly brush strokes looked more impressive...and more abstract.Merci bien et salutations-Laurent

Tony...Glad you like! The gradient is courtesy of the circular polarizer frozen onto this WA lense....an irritant to some but I am glad you see it positively as I do.Merci et salutations-Laurent

Aygun...I reversed the image of the painterly clouds and left just enough of the branches in the corner to enhance the confusion.Glad you like!Merci et salutations-Laurent
